Description
The common octopus has a large bulbous beige head, large eyes, and eight distinctive specialized arms.
The Common Octopus can be very difficult to acclimate into a new environment. They prefer low lighting and suitable water conditions. Have plenty of secured live rock in the tank and seal all openings that may invite the octopus.
The octopus will feed on many crustaceans. Feed a variety of meaty foods including shrimp, clam and scallop meat. For added nutrition soak frozen meaty foods in vitamin supplements.
