Absolutely, in the “MY Tank” page scroll to the bottom and there is a blank field box with the heading  Special instructions or questions about your order.  You have the option to tell us anything about your order and we can reply back to you if necessary. 

Starting new tanks you really have the option of choosing smaller fish.  Larger established tanks you may want to choose at least medium sized fish that can hold their own against residing territorial tank mates.  However some fish have defense mechanisms where size would not be an issue.  

You will be contacted if your order requires more than one shipping box; any extra charges will be discussed prior to shipping your fish.

The fish and invertebrates shown in stock on our website are normally stocked by our supplier weekly, however you can email or call us prior to your order to verify that the livestock you are interested in are readily available.

Many of our fish and invertebrates have a short turn around and kept at our facility a few days and sometimes up to a few weeks.  There they are closely monitored and inspected for good overall health prior to shipping.

Right now we stock very colorful mushroom rock and polyps; as we grow our facility we will carry more advanced corals.

Fish are hand-picked at our supplier than brought to our facility, fish and invertebrates are acclimated than placed in quarantine tanks for observation; preventative baths are used to clean fish if needed. Fish and invertebrates are than transferred to our main housing section that has a four step mechanical filtration method than to a large biological filtration chamber, the remaining water is recycled through a high wattage UV sterilizer and high capacity skimmer, this process is continuously repeated many times over by gravity and various pumps.  Powerful Iwaki pumps insure the water is recycled back and the  process repeated. 

We keep our fish in a salinity range of 1.023-1.025

Inverts and coral is 1.025-1.025

This advanced security software encrypts information that can only be seen and used by authorized parties.  We also never give out any personal information.

To use this feature you must create an account.  This is done by clicking on the log-in tab at top of webpage.  Fill out the blank fields and submit.  Once you have an account with a user name and password you can use MY WISH FISH by viewing a fish on the description page and adding it to MY WISH FISH, this will save your item to view later.

If you have placed a live marine order with us, it will ship standard next day and will usually arrive from 10:30 am- 11:00 am on the day specified. We will confirm delivery day and time with you to make sure you are able to accept your order.

The best way is to place shipping box on a level table and use a safety knife to cut carefully along taped seals. The very short blade will prevent from cutting through to bags inside.

You can begin small feedings to distract other fish; it also helps to turn light off or actually cover the tank if possible for a day after adding a new fish ; rearranging your landscape in the tank can be helpful too ; rectangular tanks can be sectioned using safe plastic lighting grid, this grid can be found at home depot and can be easily cut to fit and can be removed after 3-4 weeks.  If problem still exists, see which fish are the aggressors and in worst case situation, aggressors can temporally be removed and housed in holding tank for 24 hours.

The best way to prepare your tank is to do a 20% water change and recheck all water parameters for proper levels prior to adding new fish or invertebrates. Keep lower light than normal during acclimation and a day or so after. Keep an eye on any aggressive fish that may harass the new tank mate and temporally move to another location if you anticipate a situation. 

Please follow ourAcclimation guide carefully. Please note: your existing fish are a custom to your water parameters, the new fish is not.  It’s always best to check water parameters and remove nitrates with 20% water changes once a month. 

Allow your new fish to get comfortable in its new surroundings; this sometimes can take a couple of days. Look for signs of aggression from other tankmates.  Slowly offer small foods such as brine shrimp-soaked in liquid garlic and observe response.  Gradually offer more nutritional foods.

Please rinse the interior of cooler with water only.  The cooler can be used for acclimating your new fish,  transporting or temporary storage for coral or live rock while servicing or moving your aquarium.

The tank must go through a cycling process.  This can take up to a few months. Cured Live rock and live sand can help speed the cycling process.  You can check with a test kit to make sure your ammonia and nitrate levels are at zero before adding fish.  If your tank is already well-established we recommend a 20% water change a week prior to adding new marine life to your tank.
