The Mini Maxi Carpet Anemone is a very popular and easy anemone to keep. It has a variety of bright colors in a small footprint.
The Mini Maxi does require medium lighting and adequate water movement, but will acclimate in a variety of aquarium terrains and may move around until it finds the perfect place.
This anemone contains very sticky stinging cells; use rubber gloves to handle.
The anemone uses photosynthesis and turns light into nutrients. They also filter algae and other organisms in the surrounding water column where they are anchored. Supplement its diet with meaty foods such as shrimp, krill, clams and worms. Soak foods in vitamin solution for added nutrition.
