The common Feather Duster or Giant Feather Duster is very popular and plentiful in the aquarium trade. It has a white to brown fan crown that can reach 4-7 inches in diameter. The body tube is usually about 6 inches in length.
Provide a well-established reef environment. Moderate lighting and water movement are also necessary. Provide a thick substrate and plenty of live rock for this feather duster to anchor itself.
The feather duster is a filter feeder and will filter particulates in the water column where its anchored, however it is necessary to supplement with phytoplankton and liquid organic foods.
