The Fire Shrimp or Blood Shrimp even called a Scarlet Cleaner Shrimp has a brilliant red body with a few white freckles on its anterior portion. The antenna and legs are white.
The Fire Shrimp is recognized for its beauty over its cleaning ability, however it will scavenge food and waste. It prefers a dim lite tank with plenty of live rock for shelter. Despite its larger size, house with peaceful tank-mates. May eat some soft corals.
Marine Shrimp are very resourceful in finding their own food but it will be necessary to supplementing their diet with small food pellets and flake food; also include minced meaty foods.
