Description
Crimson Knobby Starfish or Red Starfish has a beige body with deep red geometric spines running from the base to the end of the arms.
The Crimson Knobby Starfish is very pretty and a pleasure to watch, it is very active and will set speed records around your aquarium. The Red Knob Sea Star requires lots of room and ample live rock for foraging. As it matures it is not reef compatible, as it will eat soft corals, sponges, and various reef dwellers. Try to keep medications out and practice good water quality for all stars.
The Crimson Knobby Starfish with forage algae and all waste in the tank, it can be fed minced shrimp and fish occasionally.
