Description
The Longfin Anthias or Ventralis Anthias is a beautiful small pink and yellow colored anthias with extravagant long flowing fins. Females will tend to have a more solid color tone.
This deep water anthias is somewhat hard to acclimate and requires dimmer light. Can be reluctant to feed initially. Can be housed in a reef or peaceful fish-only tank. Keep only one per tank or one male with several females in larger tanks if introduced simultaneously. Have plenty of live rock and good hiding areas.
Feed your anthias a varied diet, including small meaty frozen food such as mysis and enriched brine shrimp. Try to transition your anthias to Formula One Ocean Nutrition Small Pellets and Flakes
