The Blood Spot Anthias or Yellowlined Anthias has a beautiful reddish orange body with three faint lateral yellow lines through the midsection. The dorsal fin is marked with a small red spot.
The Blood Spot Anthias will do favorably in a reef environment with one male with several females in the same tank. Provide plenty of live rock for shelter.
Feed your anthias a varied diet, including small meaty frozen food such as mysis and enriched brine shrimp. Try to transition your anthias to Formula One Ocean Nutrition Small Pellets and Flakes for a healthy diet in order to maintain its brilliant colors.
