Description
The Randall's Anthias has a narrow bright orange body with glowing lavender bands running horizontally. Females have yellow highlights on the fins and a yellowing on the nose.  The Randall's Anthias goes through one of the most beautiful color transformation of any anthias species as it changes from male to female.

The Randall's Anthias is found in deeper reefs and may prefer lower lighting.  The Randall's Anthias is durable and reasonably easy to take care of; can be housed in a reef or peaceful fish-only tank.  Keep only one per tank or one male with several females in larger tanks if introduced simultaneously.  Have plenty of live rock and good shelter areas for this beauty.

Feed your anthias a varied diet, including small meaty frozen food such as mysis and enriched brine shrimp.  Try to transition your anthias to Formula One Ocean Nutrition Small Pellets and Flakes 09220 2for a healthy diet in order to maintain its brilliant colors.
