The Zebra Batfish has striking black and white vertical stripes running down its large bowed fins and through its body. Adults are less distinguished.
The Zebra Batfish is a peaceful fish and should be housed with docile tank mates. More than one can be housed together. Have plenty of shelter in tank. May nip at some corals and invertebrates. When first introduced into the aquarium, live saltwater feeder shrimps can be used to initiate feeding.
Feed a variety of meaty foods such as shrimp, scallops, vitamin-enriched brine shrimp, and frozen herbivore preparations.
