Hairfin Blenny or Snake Blenny is a type of Combtooth Blenny. It is a long slender greenish blue snake like fish with dark bands that wrap around the body the length of the fish. This blenny is equipped with large fangs on each side of the jaw.
The Hairfin Blenny is a very interesting looking fish although it looks more like an eel. This nocturnal creature will burrow in the substrate with its upper body visible like a periscope. This blenny can be a very active swimmer at times and should be kept in a larger tank with plenty of swimming area and a minimum of 3-4 inches of sandy substrate. House with larger semi-aggressive fish.
Feed a variety of frozen and meaty foods such as silversides, shrimp and squid.
