The Lawnmower Blenny goes by many aliases including Algae Blenny and Rock Blenny. It has an elongated flakey tan color body with intricate patterns. The eyes are large and it has a flattened head.
The Lawnmower Blenny is a workhorse on consuming algae; it does well in a well-nourished environment with plenty of live rock. They are excellent at camouflaging to match their environment. You will find them perching on ledges or grazing. Keep only one per tank or mated pairs. Due to the small size of this fish and eagerness to travel the aquarium the Lawnmower Blenny maybe picked on, smaller tanks and tank mates are highly recommended.
Blennies will eat mostly all foods including vegetable matter that contains marine algae. Try feeding with Ocean Nutrition Formula One Pellets regularly for a healthy diet.
