Description
The Pakistan Butterflyfish, also known as Red-tailed Butterflyfish, has a brownish-black body with a woven stitch pattern throughout. The head is black with 2 white vertical bands over the gills and mouth. Half the tail fin is a glowing red.
The Pakistan Butterflyfish is best kept singly in a fish-only tank with peaceful tank mates. The Pakistan Butterflyfish is not shy when it comes to eating, but first you may need to try using brine shrimp, this will entice feeding. The Pakistan Butterflyfish will swim in all areas of the tank and should have plenty of swimming area. Keep in tank with plenty of live rock for grazing and hiding. Will nip at coral and invertebrates and is not recommended for a reef tank.
To initiate feeding, offer a variety of small frozen foods such as mysis shrimp, enriched brine shrimp and cyclopeeze. Train your butterflyfish to eat Formula One Small Pellets or Flakes
