Description
The Pajama Cardinalfish or Spotted Cardinalfish has a yellow colored head that extends down to the pelvic fins. The midsection of the fish is separated by a faded black band that wraps the body. The posterior has old fashioned reddish polka-dots.
The Pajama Cardinalfish is a hardy fish that stays relatively quiet unless disturbed in its lair. Then they will give rapid twitching movements with their fins. Keep in a friendly fish system with plenty of live rock for shelter. They will hover very close to the ledges and crevices near the rock. They should leave most invertebrates alone except for very tiny crustaceans.
Feed cardinal fish a well-balanced diet including small meaty foods such as brine shrimp, mysis shrimp and krill. Try feeding Ocean Nutrition Formula One Pellets, an all in one food.
