Description
The Maroon Clownfish has a vivid compact red body with three thin white bands, one around the head, another at the midsection and one at the tail fin.
The Maroon Clownfish is spunky and somewhat territorial. Sea Anemones such as the Bubbletip Sea Anemone are not required for its habitat. Keep single or mated pairs only. Have good shelter areas in live rock and a thick sandy substrate.
Spines on its cheek can become caught in nets; best to use small container for transferring.
The Clownfish is always a ravenous feeder and will eat almost all meaty and prepared foods. Make sure the food is small enough in size to fit into their mouths. Try Formula One Ocean Nutrition Small Pellets for a balanced diet.
