The Temminckii Fairy Wrasse is known as the Blue Stripe Fairy Wrasse or Peacock Flasher Wrasse. This wrasse will morph into several stages of color during its growth and each phase is nothing short of spectacular. Adults show mostly red on their bodies and yellowing on their undersides with shades of blue in their flowing fins.
The Temminckii Wrasse makes a wonderful addition to any a reef tank and will not harm invertebrates. Keep with other peaceful fish. Have lots of good hiding places and thick sandy substrate. As with any member of this species they can jump; make sure you have a snug lid on the aquarium.
The wrasse will consume a wide variety of foods. Feed vitamin enriched frozen and dry foods. Train your wrasse to eat Ocean Nutrition Pellet Food for a healthy diet.
