The McCosker’s Fairy Wrasse is a dazzling wrasse with all its array of color. It has an orangish red body with iridescent staggered blue lateral lines, the dorsal and anal fins are decorated in red and yellow.
This peaceful wrasse should be kept in a sociable tank. It is reef safe and will not harm invertebrates. It becomes very hardy once established. One male can be housed with several females if introduced simultaneously. Have lots of good hiding places and thick sandy substrate. This species is known for their jumping; make sure you have a fully sealed lid on the aquarium.
The wrasse will consume a wide variety of foods. Feed vitamin enriched frozen and dry foods. Train your wrasse to eat Ocean Nutrition Pellet Food for a healthy diet.
