The Orange Back Fairy Wrasse has a vivid blue body with an orange band running the length of its dorsal fin. The male has red on its head, and when pursing a female, the body color may be enhanced.
The Orange Back Wrasse has a peaceful disposition and will not harm invertebrates or corals which makes them great candidates for a reef tank. Have plenty of live rock and lots of good hiding places with thick sandy substrate. As with any member of this species they can jump; make sure you have a snug lid on the aquarium.
The wrasse will consume a wide variety of foods. Feed vitamin enriched frozen and dry foods. Train your wrasse to eat Ocean Nutrition Pellet Food for a healthy diet.
