The Aurora Goby or Pinkbar Shrimp Goby has a white body and red slanted bands down its body.
The Head area has a section of matching spots.
They have a symbiotic relationship with Alpheus randalli shrimps known as Snapping Shrimp. The shrimp will construct burrows for them, and in return the goby will stand guard and alert the shrimp if danger is present. Provide a thick sandy substrate and loose rock for shelter. Keep only one per tank unless mated pairs. Can jump out of open aquariums.
This goby is a sand sifter. Its diet should include a variety of live and frozen brine shrimp, mysis shrimp, live worms, and prepared foods for carnivores
