The Blue Gudgeon Dartfish or Spotail Dartfish has a long slender blue body with a black spot on its tail.
The Blue Gudgeon is an easy fish to care for and makes a nice addition to a reef tank or any peaceful system. They can be kept in small groups and will hover several inches below the water surface in wait to feed on drifting organisms or may occasionally feed off the bottom substrate. When not active the Blue Gudgeon will take refuge in crevices of live rock the substrate. Can jump out of open aquariums.
Its diet should include a variety of live and frozen brine shrimp, mysis shrimp, live worms, and prepared foods for carnivores.
