Description

The Arrowhead Grouper or Arrowhead Soapfish has an elongated grayish blue body and a pointed snout.  There is a yellow spot behind the caudal fin.

 

This smaller grouper can be housed in smaller tanks.  It is classified as a Soapfish which can exude a toxic mucus for defense.  Provide plenty of live rock for shelter.  Capable of eating small fish and invertebrates.  Do not transfer the shipping water to the aquarium.  

 

Feed a variety of meaty foods such as silversides and frozen shrimp.  Try saturating food in liquid vitamins and garlic for good fish health.
