The Blue Line Grouper is plum red with numerous iridescent bright blue horizontal lines through its body; the streamline fins are accented in a darker shaded blue.
The Blue line Grouper is a hardy grouper that does well in captivity. Provide a large tank with plenty of live rock for shelter for the Blue line Grouper. Keep only one Blue Line per tank. They will eat anything that will fit into their mouth including smaller fish and crustaceans.
It will greedily accept a variety of meaty foods such as silversides and frozen shrimp. Try saturating food in liquid vitamins and garlic for good fish health.
