The Polleni Grouper is a smaller grouper decorated with yellow, purple and red horizontal striping down its body.
The Polleni Grouper is rarer to find than most groupers because of the deep waters from which they are caught; perfect for mid-sized tanks because of their smaller size. Provide plenty of live rock for shelter for the Polleni Grouper. Keep only one per tank. Don't be fooled despite their size the Polleni Grouper will eat anything that will fit into their mouth including smaller fish and crustaceans.
Feed a variety of meaty foods such as silversides and frozen shrimp. Try saturating food in liquid vitamins and garlic for good fish health.
