Description

The Powder Blue Grouper or Blue and Gold Grouper has a soft blue body and yellow fins. There is a yellow marking on the upper lip on adults.

 

Growing quite large, this aggressive grouper requires a 180 gal tank or larger. Provide plenty of live rock for shelter.  Keep only one per tank.  They will eat anything that will fit into their mouth including smaller fish and crustaceans.

 

Feed a variety of meaty foods such as silversides and frozen shrimp.
