Description
The Stocky Hawkfish is one of the largest hawkfish. It’s found in shallow reefs in the Indian Ocean and Red Sea. It has a pale white body with red to dark splotches down the body used as camouflage.
The Stocky Hawkfish is fairly hardy and easy to care for. It will do more perching than swimming and should be house in an aggressive tank with plenty of live rock. It will eat small fish and many types of invertebrates.
Most hawkfish will eat a variety of frozen meaty foods. Try to train your hawkish to eat Ocean Nutrition Pellets for a healthy diet.
