Description
The Masuda Hogfish or Peppermint Hogfish has thin red and yellow or white horizontal lines down its slender body. The underside is white and the caudal fin has a dark eye- spot at the base at maturity.
The Masuda’s Hogfish is a flashy colored, hardy fish that does well in a community fish-only system. Provide adequate swimming room for this active fish and good shelter areas. One or more can be added simultaneously in larger tanks. Will eat smaller invertebrates.
