The Pastel Jawfish has a soft pink color body with light blue accents on its fins and eyes.
This jawfish is fun to watch. They are engineers of the substrate and will create a lavish bunker in which to retreat if threatened. Provide thick substrate and loose rubble for burrows. Can jump out of open aquariums. May be a threat to other substrate dwelling fish and small shrimps. The Pastel Jawfish is deemed expert due to the fact that they are jumpers and need their own private dwelling to feel not threatened.
Feed a variety of small meaty foods such as mysis and brine shrimp. Once comfortable in its new home try prepared foods like Ocean Nutrition Formula One Small Pellets. You may have to put food close to its burrowto entice it.
