The Radiata Lionfish or Clearfin Lionfish has vibrant white and reddish brown vertical stripping. The pectoral fins windmill outward and the sharp dorsal fins stand erect.
The Radiata Lionfish is one of the more prized lionfish, it requires adequate hiding areas and ledges to perch on. Keep with mild manner tank mates that will not compete for food. More than one Radiata Lionfish can be kept in medium sized tanks. Use caution, equipped with very venomous dorsal spines.
The Radiata Lionfish can be initially hard to feed. Small live fish or feeder shrimp can be used than transition to small pieces of silversides and vitamin enriched foods.
