Description
The Scorpionfish is in the same family as the Lionfish. It’s a bottom dweller that waits in disguise for its prey. It sucks prey into its large mouth with suction made by the buccal cavity. It will rarely accept anything but live food. Can be housed with other Scorpionfish of the same size. It has venomous dorsal, anal, and pelvic fin spines.
