Description
The Zebra Flounder is a flat fish with various camouflage patterns on its body. The exposed side of its body has two eyes facing upwards.
This freakish fish spends most of its time burrowing in the sand bed. The optimum tank to house this interesting creature needs to have a large flat bottom with a thick sandy substrate free from obstructions. The Flounder is a very predatory fish and will ambush invertebrates and small fish.
The diet of the Flounder consists of small frozen fish, shrimp and scallops.
