The Red Lizard Fish or Reef Lizard Fish has a pale white and red splotched body which is used for camouflage in the swallow reefs of the Atlantic Ocean. The lizard fish will react fast when food is present.
The Red Lizard Fish is an ambush predator that will spend time resting on the bottom in cover. The Red Lizard fish is very inquisitive and will readily eat many types of foods. House one per tank with peaceful fish equal or larger in size. Provide plenty of live rock and rubble with thick sandy substrate.
Feed the Red Lizard Fish a variety frozen meaty foods such as Mysis shrimp, Brine shrimp, silversides, shrimp and squid.
