The Blue Spot Toby Puffer or Sharpnose Toby has beautiful iridescent blue spots on its body. Their fan-like tailfin is orange with circular transparent spots. The nose protrudes outward with a small beak-like mouth used for probing small crevices.
The Blue Spot Toby Puffer will stay fairly small which makes them great for smaller tanks. The Blue Spot Toby Puffer are relatively peaceful around tank mates when fed well, they are very capable of jumping out of aquariums without lids if frightened. Have plenty of live rock for scavenging and shelter. May pick at small inverts.
Feed a variety of small meaty foods. Pufferfish really go for squid and clams. Train your puffer to eat Ocean Nutrition Formula One Pellets for extra nutrition.
