The Green Dragon Pipefish has a lime green tubular body with an elongated snout. They are found in the wild hovering upright over rocks and sand as to resemble ocean grass as camouflage.
These unusual-looking fish make good tank mates with the reserved seahorses in smaller tanks. Provide a well-established tank with slow water movement in a typical reef environment. May require live food to initiate feeding then brine and mysis shrimp maybe offered.
Transition your pipefish to accept frozen fare, this should be done over time. Initially offer live shrimp, over time try frozen mysis shrimp and other small meaty fare. We recommend soaking your foods in Vitality, which is a liquid vitamin, amino acid, and trace element supplement.
