Description
The Golden Jack or Golden Trevally as a juvenile has a bright yellow body with thin vertical black bars down its streamline body. The adults have a more solid silver color. They grow very large over 3 feet in length.
They prefer to school and more than one can be kept in an adequately sized aquarium. They are difficult to feed, try live feeder shrimp then transition to frozen preparations when it is fully acclimated in its new surroundings. Will eat smaller fish and invertebrates.
