The Christmas Wrasse or Red-Lined Wrasse is named for the red pattern on its light greenish body. The females will have narrow black lateral lines and a black spot on the dorsal fin.
This Christmas Wrasse should have good swimming area ; the Christmas Wrasse has very alert eyes and has an insatiable appetite for most all pesky rock dwelling invertebrates but is overall a peaceful fish and requires peaceful tank mates. Keep a thick layer of sandy substrate for sleeping and a snug lid on tank at all times. Will eat any small invertebrates in the tank.
The Christmas Wrasse will consume a wide variety of foods. Feed vitamin enriched frozen and dry foods. Train your wrasse to eat Ocean Nutrition Pellet Food for a healthy diet.
