The Marbled Wrasse or Checkerboard Wrasse as an adult has a silver and black checkerboard pattern on its body, it’s dorsal and tail fin are yellow and it has brilliant orange pink markings down its face.
The Checkerboard Wrasse should acclimate well and become very hardy. Keep with peaceful tank mates including members of its own kind. Have lots of good hiding places and thick sandy substrate. Will eat bothersome worms and unfortunately most beneficial invertebrates in the aquarium.
The wrasse will consume a wide variety of foods. Feed vitamin enriched frozen and dry foods. Train your wrasse to eat Ocean Nutrition Pellet Food for a healthy diet.
