The Mediterranean Rainbow Wrasse or Rainbow Wrasse is a colorful wrasse found in great numbers in the Mediterranean Sea and Atlantic Ocean, it has a blend of several colors; the first horizontal band is a light green followed by orange and the underside is white, a black markings is found behind the gills.
The Rainbow Wrasse is a hardy and active wrasse. It may bury itself in the substrate if threatened or at dusk. Adults will need a large amount of swimming area and good shelter areas in live rock. It is not a picky eater and may attack all invertebrates in the tank. Keep a snug lid on the tank at all times.
The wrasse will consume a wide variety of foods. Feed vitamin enriched frozen and dry foods. Train your wrasse to eat Ocean Nutrition Pellet Food for a healthy diet.
